A missed period may be a sign of pregnancy, but it may not necessarily indicate a viable pregnancy. If you think you are pregnant, you may have already experienced some of these common symptoms:

  • Missed period
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Breast tenderness
  • Frequent urination
  • Extreme fatigue
  • Dizziness
  • Mood swings

You may have already taken a home pregnancy test. Although these tests are usually very accurate if taken according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, they can sometimes relay false results. We recommend you come in for another free test at Heart to Heart to confirm your results. Our pregnancy tests are similar to home pregnancy tests in that they measure the hormone Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) in the urine. If our test is positive, we can talk about scheduling a free ultrasound that will provide more information about your pregnancy.

NURSE CONSULTATION
Whether you have serious concerns about your pregnancy or just need someone to talk to, our nurses are dedicated to helping clients in any way they can. We do prefer scheduled appointments, but we do our best to accommodate walk-ins when we have an open appointment.
  ULTRASOUNDS
We offer ultrasound testing free of charge. The nurses at Heart to Heart are trained in Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound. Specifically, the ultrasound will reveal: Is the pregnancy in the uterus? Is there a visible heartbeat? What is the estimated gestational age?
